Donut Lead
Hippy Dippy Donuts — Team Lead
Location: Fort Gratiot, MI
Position overview
Hippy Dippy Donuts is hiring two energetic, reliable morning team members to join our Fort Gratiot shop. They will be designated as Team Lead (starts at $15 per hour). You’ll help prepare and serve fresh donuts, maintain a clean and welcoming shop, and provide friendly customer service during busy morning hours.
Open shifts (2 positions)
- Position A: Monday–Thursday, shift begins between 4/5:00 AM and ends at 11:00 AM.
- Position B: Friday 4/5:00 AM–11:00 AM, plus Saturday–Sunday 6/7:00 AM–11:00 AM.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and finish donuts, glazes, and toppings following recipes and safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain proper food handling.
- Serve customers at counter with friendly, efficient service.
- Prepare coffee and other beverages as needed.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dining area; restock supplies.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
- Follow opening/closing checklists and communicate shift notes to team.
- (Team Lead) Supervise morning shift, delegate tasks, ensure product quality and punctual opening procedures, and assist with training.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early-morning hours.
- Positive attitude, team player, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Food handling or kitchen experience preferred but not required — training provided.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to ~50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be 18 years or older.

Line Leader
· Operating the store in business hours (typically mornings, afternoons, and evenings)
· Handling opening responsibilities and day-to-day operational procedures
· Executing operational tasks such as cleaning and stocking
· Ensuring customers’ outstanding experience through engagement, product quality, and exemplary service
· MUST understand and be able to provide excellent service
· Creating all products correctly and efficiently
· Maintaining cleanliness standards
· Working with a crew of between one and six employees and ensuring they adhere to policies that enhance the customer experience
· Executing store opening and closing responsibilities and other various day-to-day operational procedures
· Must be 18 or older

Availability:
· Working approximately 15-35 hours per week
· Additional hours available in summer months

A successful candidate possesses the following skills:
· Cash handling, effectively communicate with team members, able to lift and carry approximately up to 50 pounds, able to scoop frozen ice cream
